The Houston Chronicle reports that Fort Bend (TX) ISD officials are evaluating new campus security measures, including cutting-edge facial recognition and tracking software, to alert district police when a campus security camera spots someone dangerous. Advocates believe it would result in faster deployment of police in emergency situations.
