FreshGrade announces the launch of FreshGrade Next. Using the same technology as consumer social media, the platform gives administrators, teachers, students and families access to a communication system that simplifies interaction and emphasizes engagement. FreshGrade Next is a learning network that combines elements of lesson planners, portfolios, communication systems and gradebooks into a unified experience.
FreshGrade Next integrates four staple FreshGrade resources into one network:

– With lesson planning, teachers craft a shared journey that aligns activities to standards, frameworks and assessments while maintaining flexible control over lessons to meet school and district requirements.
● Portfolio
– The digital portfolio brings student work to life through student-driven personalization, a learning journal, and diverse media to demonstrate learning.
● Communication System
– The communication system builds community with real-time insights, a conversation toolset and mobile access to make engagement equitable.
● Flexible Gradebook
– The gradebook guides students to success, with features including flexible assessment, an evidence-driven gradebook and the ability to group students in any way that supports learning. The gradebook enables standards- or score-based grading.
