SIIA Releases Qualitative Mobile Study

The Education Division of the Software & Information Industry Association (SIIA) released a Qualitative Study on Mobile Learning during a press briefing at the Education Business Forum in New York today. The study of educators’ mobile challenges and opportunities indicates opportunities for growth in the use of mobile technology in schools.

The results, gathered from interviews with nine educators, demonstrate the successes and difficulties faced by individual teachers in their integration of smart phones and tablets for educational purposes. This qualitative study was conducted primarily through phone interviews with participants.
