Brief Description of the Site:
Blue Valley West High School is located in Overland Park, Kansas. Library Media Specialist Rebecca Stith maintains the Library Media Center’s Web site. A variety of resources including an online catalog, links to Web-based encyclopedias, the Reader’s Guide, and supporting links for research topics are available to teachers and students.

How to use the site:
The Research Process area provides a number of online, interactive tools for students. By working through each activity students learn how to define a task, locate information, evaluate that information, make proper use of it, and properly cite sources. The Know-How area is primarily for teachers and features some interesting tips for using Inspiration as a teaching tool and setting up a PowerPoint file to create a Jeopardy! like quiz show.
