Edsitement is a rich resource for educators who teach humanities. The site provides lesson plans and Web sites for Art and Culture, Literature and Language Arts, Foreign Language, and History and Social Studies. The site also provides users with a calendar of important events linked to resources on the site, a reference shelf, and multiple methods of searching and obtaining resources from the site.

How to use the site:
This site provides resources for the study of humanities. Begin by choosing an area of interest and then use the Subject Navigator present on each page to drill down to a specific topical area. Narrow your search by using the grade-appropriate pull-down menu. For each search, lesson plans and Web site suggestions are provided. Finalize your visit by exploring the calendar, which displays interesting events in the humanities complete with links to correlated Web sites.
