Mark T. Masterson, MBA, MSIS, Chief Information Officer (CIO), Associate Superintendent Information Technology, Arizona Department of Education
Mark T Masterson, Arizona Department of Education (ADE) Chief Information Officer, was selected by the Superintendent of Public Instruction to completely reengineer Information Technology (IT) functions and delivery for the department. Mark oversees a $20M internal budget with overall impact to $200M in IT education spending statewide. His work at ADE impacts more than 1M students and 60,000 teachers in 2,200 public schools in Arizona – plus the nearly 375 charter holders in the state. He is a strategic thinker who has developed and implemented IT organizational and business solutions that resulted in greater ROI, reduced costs, improved efficiency and higher quality. Mark has proven to be a motivational, hands-on leader who has successfully managed large globally dispersed and culturally diverse team. He has the ability to drive transformation and continuous improvement within these teams.

Mark has a comprehensive portfolio full life cycle information technology. This includes extensive experience in data center build out, infrastructure utilization and large-scale network and operations excellence. He is known for driving high availability and sustainability while exceeding customer expectations.

As a Cloud Solution Architect for Microsoft, Paul Singh helps shape and deliver on a strategy to build broad use of Azure services (e.g., Infrastructure, Research, HPC, Big Data, IoT, ISS, Machine Learning, DR, Mobility etc) directly with Education customers and with the Microsoft ecosystem of system integrators and solution providers. Paul previously worked as a Technology Solutions Professional (Datacenter) for Microsoft serving EDU customers
