National September 11 Memorial and Museum: Commemorating 9/11

Learning about September 11th can be scary for kids, but we need to teach the importance of that day in our history. The 9/11 Memorial Museum has a series of lessons that focus on the heroes of that day, specifically Welles Crowther. They will learn about his courage from the book The Man in the Red Bandana.
