Name:Sowers Middle School
Located in Southern California’s Huntington Beach, Sowers Middle School serves students in grades 6-8. This comprehensive Web site is designed to provide information to parents, students, and school staff. Several areas, such as Blogs and Contact Us require registration to gain access.
How to use the site:
The Home page features current announcements and easy access to major areas of the site. The annotated Calendar is a very nice feature. Click on any hyperlinked date to read a full description of that day’s event(s). The school’s handbook is organized into sections so readers aren’t required to scroll through a lengthy PDF file to find the topic they’re looking for. The Photo Album and Surveys encourage students to log in regularly to check out updates. The site is relatively new, but shows great promise.
