zSpace Wins Tech & Learning Magazine’s 2014 Award of Excellence

STEM Package Recognized Among Outstanding Education Technology Products in 32nd Annual Award Competition
Publish date:

SUNNYVALE, Calif. – Nov. 18, 2014 – zSpace STEM Package is the winner of a 2014 Tech & Learning magazine Award of Excellence. The zSpace STEM Package was honored in the Best New Products category for its interactive, virtual reality educational platform. Combining the zSpace virtual reality platform with intuitive science education software provides educators and students with a realistic learning environment and a personalized learning experience that aligns to the Next Generation Science Standards.

With zSpace, students interact with virtual environments to discover concepts, such as the complexity of human anatomy or the components of an engine, in ways often impractical or impossible in the real world — maximizing the level of their engagement as the sciences come to life. Using virtual reality, students can perform highly engaging tasks that are often too complex, expensive and/or dangerous for the classroom. Imagine dissecting a human heart without getting messy or building a robot without having to worry about limited supplies or student safety. In addition, zSpace learning applications excite students about learning as they build experiments, complete projects, and use tools to explore e-content.

Earlier this year, a Tech & Learning reviewer put zSpace to the test, commenting in a review in the August 2014 issue of the magazine, “zSpace has so many possibilities for the classroom—and it is just getting started.”

zSpace will be featured in the December 2014 Tech & Learning Issue. Click here for the official press release.
