June 14, 2018 – Blaine, Minn. and Irvine, Calif. – – Infinite Campus, the most trusted name in student information, announces Illuminate Education, the company transforming K-12 instruction through educational intelligence solutions, as an Assessment Partner. Illuminate Education and Infinite Campus are both IMS Global members, paving the way for deeper product integration by embracing open standards.

The integration lets teachers select Illuminate Education assessments directly from a Campus assignment. Students will be able to launch and complete their assessments using Campus Student, and teachers will see their students’ assessment scores in their Campus Grade Book as soon as the student is finished.

“This is a dynamic partnership that will support exciting new features for our customers,” said Charlie Kratsch, CEO and Founder of Infinite Campus. “Additionally, the partnership allows teachers to eliminate the double entry of scores and grades. Campus is deeply committed to IMS Global standards, so it’s important we partner with technology providers like Illuminate Education who recognize the significance of the IMS Global certification.”

“Having Illuminate assessment scores appear in Campus Grade Book in real time based on IMS Global Standards saves teachers time since they do not have to double enter,” said Dr. Brian Blanton, Assistant Superintendent for Technology Services at Henry County Schools in McDonough, Georgia, a long-time Infinite Campus and Illuminate Education customer. “The benefits to parents and students are also real because those results are immediately available via the Campus parent and student portals.”

“We’re always looking for new ways to better serve our customers, and this partnership with Infinite Campus signals our companies’ mutual support for IMS Global standards,” said Max Carnecchia, CEO of Illuminate Education. “The education ecosystem is becoming increasingly complex and connected, requiring more and better integrations. Entering into partnership with Infinite Campus makes sense to us because teachers and students are the ultimate beneficiaries.”

Infinite Campus and Illuminate Education will be piloting the integration with select districts during the late-summer of 2018, with release to all customer districts planned for fall 2018.
