itslearning New Learning Path Solution Lets Teachers Design Personalized, Optimal Avenues for Student Learning

Oct. 16, 2018 , Boston, MA and Bergen, Norway– As part of its mission to help students achieve their potential, itslearning announced it has recently launched its Learning Paths enhanced solution. Teachers can use this new set of features to create a personalized experience for the classroom. Through a sequence of steps, students work toward a specific learning goal at their own pace.

As a user of a learning management system (LMS) and early adopter of the new itslearning enhanced solution, Jason Naile, Director of Instructional Technology and Media for Forsyth County Schools, said, “We’re excited to be using the new Learning Paths. They are an extremely effective way of using the technology and its vast resources to both allow for self-paced learning and give students needed guidance and support through incredible differentiation.”

Designed specifically for the K-12 market, itslearning helps improve education in and out of the classroom. The intuitive LMS features effectively connect teachers, parents and students to create personalized learning solutions for every student. Moreover, the acclaimed itslearning platform continues to evolve to meet the 21st century learning initiatives of school districts. Recently the company announced a new partnership with Google for Education that will result in major new integrations to improve student learning outcomes.

The learning path within the itslearning LMS can consist of content such as notes, files, web pages, videos or links to an external game. Teachers can also embed assessments in a learning path to evaluate students’ level of understanding, making realtime feedback a reality. It is also possible to determine a different sequence based on the result of the assessment, allowing students to go through a remedial track or exit the learning path when the goal is met.

“With two easy options for creating the learning paths, we are giving teachers new ways to not only personalize teaching but we are make teaching easier -- which is fundamental to our mission,” said Arne Bergby, CEO of itslearning. “We listened to what teachers were asking for and this Learning Paths solution is the answer.”
