Roland Systems Group has introduced the Roland VR-5, an integrated AV mixer with recording and output for web streaming. The VR-5 is intended for multiple school AV uses, including morning announcements, sporting events, drama, music performances, distance learning and school board meetings.

The VR-5 incorporates a video switcher, audio mixer, video playback, recorder, preview monitors and output for web streaming all in a single unit. No drivers are required, making web streaming possible by simply connecting a USB cable to a computer running a web streaming service such as USTREAM®, Livestream, and Justin.TV.
