Three Keys to Enhancing Safety and Compliance Training This Summer

Safety and compliance training is an increasingly important consideration for schools, for several reasons: it mitigates legal exposure, it’s state and federally mandated, and it’s the right thing to do for staff and students. To help district leaders bolster their programs during the summer months, Scenario Learning has identified three key strategies:

  1. Bring your training online. Online training offers benefits, including cost savings, reporting capability and trainee satisfaction.
  2. Review new and upcoming state mandates. Training legislation varies widely from state to state, so it’s important for district leaders to continuously monitor changes.
  3. Update your new-employee training program. By taking a proactive approach to new-staff training in July and August, administrators can set themselves up for success throughout the year.
