The Education Technology Industry Network (ETIN) of the Software & Information Industry Association (SIIA) announced the recipients of three industry awards: Lifetime Achievement Award, Ed Tech Impact Award and Best Overall CODiE Education Solution.

Mark McCusker, CEO of Texthelp Ltd. was honored with ETIN’s Education Lifetime Achievement Award. SIIA also presented its Ed Tech Impact Award to Michael Jay, President and Founder of Educational Systemics and Kevin Custer, Co-Founder of Arc Capital Development. The Best Overall Education Solution CODiE Award was presented to Schoology. The awards were presented during the annual Education Industry Symposium held in Denver July 25-27.

The Education Division of the Software & Information Industry Association (SIIA) announces that it will honor Dr. Dustin (Dusty) Hull Heuston, chairman of the Waterford Institute, with its prestigious Education Lifetime Achievement Award. SIIA will also present its Ed Tech Impact Award to Lillian Kellogg, vice president of client services for Education Networks of America (ENA), during the upcoming Ed Tech Industry Summit held in San Francisco May 5-7.

(April 30, 2015) – The Education Technology Industry Network (ETIN) of the Software & Information Industry Association (SIIA) announces that it will honor Tom Snyder, founder of Tom Snyder Productions, with its prestigious Education Lifetime Achievement Award. SIIA will also present its Ed Tech Impact Award to Farimah Schuerman, senior vice president for strategy and alliances of Copia Interactive, during the upcoming Education Industry Summit held in San Francisco May 3-5.

The Education Division of the Software & Information Industry Association (SIIA) honors Dr. Leonard Hall and Sue Collins with the Lifetime Achievement and Ed Tech Impact Award, respectively. Dr. Hall, co-founder of education companies SkillsBank Corporation and Impact Education, and Collins, principal at CollinsConsults, will receive their awards during the upcoming Education Industry Summit, held May 12-14 in San Francisco. Collins and Dr. Hall are recognized for their contributions to the education technology industry.

SIIA Announces CODiE™ Award Winners for Education Technology Industry

WASHINGTON (May 18, 2016)— The Software & Information Industry Association (SIIA), the principal trade association for the software and digital content industries, today announced the winners of the 2016 CODiE Awards in education technology. The winner announcement was made to an audience of over 300 attendees, and 29 awards were given for products and services deployed specifically for the education technology market. An overall Education Technology CODiE Award winner will be named during a special CODiE Award Celebration party at the Education Industry Symposium on July 26 in Denver, CO.
