Today's Newsletter: These new school updates are amazing!

Many students returning to school this year won’t remember the joint. In Miami, Norland High School is the last of Miami-Dade’s 1950s-era high schools to be replaced in the urban core, thanks to a $1.2 billion school improvement bond that was passed in 2012. The district has completed 260 construction projects so far and spent nearly $400 million. In Columbus, Ohio, the district spent $32 million for new homes for the French and Spanish immersion programs. "There is no comparison. We've gone from there being like no technology to a completely Wi-Fi building with all this technology," says Principal Kathryn Myers.
