The Idaho State Department of Education recently approved Curriculum Associates’ Ready® Common Core Mathematics as part of its 2015–2016 K–12 Mathematics Review. Built for the Common Core State Standards (CCSS), Ready Mathematics underwent screening based on its content, organization, presentation, and quality.
Ready Common Core Mathematics emphasizes conceptual understanding through reasoning, modeling, and discussion that explores the structure of mathematics while also developing students’ procedural fluency. The program uses a research-based, gradual-release instructional model that balances conceptual understanding and procedural fluency.
