Sphero announced today the release of SPRK Lightning Lab™ 3.0 - the latest version of the existing SPRK+™ compatible app. SPRK Lightning Lab is the Sphero app for programming Sphero robots. It is a hub to create, contribute, and learn through unique STEAM activities.
The app update includes:
● Draw: Beginners can give robots commands by drawing a path in the app for the robot to follow
● Blocks: The block-based drag and drop interface can be utilized by intermediate coders
● Text: Coding pros can use text programming to write code sequences from the ground up
● Lightning Lab Chrome App: The Chrome app uses the same Lab interface and functions
In conjunction with the app update, Sphero has announced the launch of the SPRK+ Power Pack,which allows for up to a dozen Sphero robots to charge in one place.
The SPRK Lightning Lab app is free and is available for download on iOS devices, Android phones and tablets, ChromeBook devices, Amazon Fire devices and Nook® devices.
The SPRK+ Power Pack retails for $1,799 and is available for purchase atSphero.com. The first 50 purchase orders made will receive a complimentary Ultimate Accessory Pack.
