December 8 & 9, the Software and Information Industry Association (SIIA) will host its annual Education Business Forum at the Princeton Club in New York. This event for education business leadership and the investor community offers a variety of sessions, including insight from peer-reviewed product showcases and one-on-one networking events. I’ll be speaking with Mike Fisher, Associate Director, Educational Technology Sector of Futuresource after his session, as well as sitting down with incoming SIIA Senior VP & Managing Director, Christopher Lohse, to discuss the Association’s vision for 2017 and beyond. Tonight, the Association will host a dinner to celebrate the remarkable edtech career of Karen Billings, who will be retiring from her longtime role as VP of the Educational Technology Network of SIIA. Karen has been a good friend to T&L for many years, and we wish her well. - Christine Weiser, Executive Editor
