Math games tournament will award $50,000 scholarship

Registration for the U Games National Scholarship Tournament, hosted by Tabula Digita, begins on Nov. 1, 2010 with tournament play running Nov.15 through May 1, 2011. Students in grades three – eight can participate in the virtual competition by downloading a free tournament version of the DimensionU learning system for math at www.dimensionu.com/UGames.

The competition, co-sponsored by Intel and in partnership with Dell, consists of 12 rounds of play, each lasting two weeks. Prizes include scholarships of $50,000 and $10,000, iPads, 32” LCD TVs, Razor Electric Bikes, and more.
