New short throw projector has network capability

Hitachi America, Ltd. is introducing the CP-DW10N 3LCD projector, which features a short throw distance of three feet, projecting an 80-inch image, and can be controlled and maintained through a LAN network connection. The network functionality is capable of controlling multiple projectors in different rooms, as well as monitoring for functions such as remaining lamp life.

In addition, the projector is compatible with widescreen laptop computers and can project on an 87-inch-wide interactive whiteboard from a distance of 37 inches.

With the projector's Template Function, the projector can display lines, circles and a world map, making it easier to write on an interactive whiteboard. Presenters can magnify part of an image up to four times.
