Microsoft has announced the global availability of the new Windows Live Movie Maker, the first Windows Live Essentials application optimized for Windows 7.

Teachers who already have images or video for a subject on their computer can create a high-quality movie quickly. It can also be used to add more visuals to class lectures with short video or audio clips. Students can use Windows Live Movie Maker at home or at school to create short movies to help reinforce science concepts or demonstrate historical events in a more meaningful way.
