Got iPad? Get algebra
published
Houghton Mifflin Harcourt is introducing one of its algebra textbooks in digital format through Apple’s iTunes online store for use on the iPad.
The textbook app offers interactive content including step-by-step animated instruction, instant feedback on practice questions, and access to hundreds of video lessons. It combines instruction, and on-going support, intervention and real-time monitoring.
Currently, 400 students in California are testing the app on iPads and student performance will be compared against other students who are using the standard algebra textbook.
