App promotes STEM learning, including programming

techBASIC, an app and programming language for the iPhone/iPad, is designed to support STEM education in the following ways:

Physics
-supports the accelerometer and gyroscope, allowing students and teachers to use their iPhone or iPad to collect data, like stunt kite motion. techBASIC can measure G forces on running children and a dancing ballerina. Collects data from the accelerometer, magnetometer, gyroscope, and HiJack, and can plot data with interactive graphs.

Algebra & Calculus – aids in understanding functions visually, with interactive graphics that allow twist and zoom manipulations to explore equations from any math or calculus class.

Programming - Students can learn programming using techBASIC, which is a full implementation of the BASIC programming language.
