Moving Tales, the producers of the 3D animated storybook app, The Pedlar Lady of Gushing Cross, have released their second story in the Classic World Tale series, The Unwanted Guest for the iPad, iPhone and iPod touch.
The Unwanted Guest is an adaptation of a traditional Jewish folk tale, where a poor old man, down on his luck and living in a tumbledown house, is visited by an unwelcome house guest. The App's dynamic typographic layouts can be animated using the device accelerometer, incorporate randomly selected alternate perspectives to ensure no two viewings are alike, use Cover Flow-like navigation and include poetic voice-over narratives and text in English, Spanish and French. The user can record their own voice reading the story to be played back with the sound effects and music.
