Professional Learning Maps PD Launched Today

Today, Amplify unveiled Professional Learning Maps, a new approach for personalizing educator professional development.

Professional Learning Maps starts with a diagnostic survey during which educators analyze their instructional practices. Based on the survey results, interactive maps instantly show each educator their areas of strength and need. At the district level, administrators can filter survey results by school and/or grade level to understand the strengths and needs at various levels throughout the district. Educators are then provided with a series of online, learn-at-your-own-pace tutorials tailored to their individual needs, while administrators can access a host of resources to guide targeted support for groups including facilitator guides, templates, and in-person support from expert Amplify coaches.

Starting in January and for a limited time, Amplify is offering Professional Learning Maps to first-time users for $1,000 per school for one month. Normally retailing for $4,000 per school, the annual license fee includes the Web-based diagnostic survey, interactive maps, and differentiated PD for leaders and educators.
