In a recent analysis of student reading logs, Learn2Earn found that more than 137,000 students have read 1,167,532 books since September 2013, with more than 230,000 books read last month alone. Further review found that the weekend of September 19-20, showed students logged more than 1M minutes of reading. Broken down another way, that’s 885 days or 2.42 years of reading done in a single weekend.

Whooo’s Reading Platform Helps Elementary Students Significantly Improve Reading Proficiency and Comprehension After One Year

San Diego — Oct. 19, 2015 — After a year of using the Whooo’s Reading online platform, elementary students at all grade levels read books with significantly higher text complexity, as determined by Lexile measures, than at the start of that year. Those were the findings of a recent analysis, conducted by Learn2Earn, the creator of Whooo’s Reading. The data came from more than 2,700 students who used the platform during the 2014-15 school year.

Learn2Earn Students Log 100 Million Minutes of Reading

Learn2Earn will celebrate this landmark moment by awarding Charcoal with a NOOK e-reader from Barnes & Noble, Inc., (NYSE:BKS). His classmates will have a reading party throw by Learn2Earn, who will supply captivating and fun reading materials.

Second Week of Whooo’s Reading Month-Long Reading Marathon Results Are In: Top Three Classes Log More Than 28,000 Minutes Reading

Nationwide Goal of Logging 31 Million Minutes of Reading In 31 Days Is On Target   San Diego — March 21, 2016 — Students in Mrs. Margaret Conlon’s 5th-grade class at Spuyten Duyvil School P.S. 24 in New York City did it again by taking first place in the second week of a month-long reading marathon by posting nearly 22,000 minutes of reading in just seven days. Two other classes – Eileen Wickard’s 6th grade class from Palisades Middle School in Kintnersville, Penn., and Lindsay Sims 3rd grade class at Julian Newman Elementary School in Athens, Ala., – placed second and third, respectively with a combined total of more than 6,500 minutes. To date, more than 1,541 schools in all 50 states have logged more than 18 million minutes of reading during the month of March.
