Atomic Learning launches significant product enhancements; adds Liz Walbrun as VP of Strategic Sales

Following the 2015 acquisition of Versifit Technologies, a leading provider of data warehousing and analytic reporting platforms in education, the companies’ solutions continue to evolve to address key challenges facing education.

The company recently launched Hoonuit, a new professional development framework, and this fall will be releasing a new look to the Edvantage data warehouse.

To drive the strategic sales to large districts, the company announces the addition of Liz Walbrun as Vice President of Strategic Sales.

Liz has more than 30 years’ experience in K-12 education sales, with her primary focus being large school districts and state departments of education opportunities in the SIS (Synergy, SASI, Powerschool, SMS, Infinite Campus) and ERP (CIMS, Lawson) software and professional services (IBM) space.

Liz has held sales leadership positions with Edupoint Educational Systems, NCS Pearson, Apple Computer/Powerschool, IBM as well as other major K-12 software and services companies. Liz was most recently Strategic Account Executive for Edupoint Educational Systems.

Liz has been a long-time member of The Council of the Great City Schools and Council of Chief State School Officers as well as several regional and state education organizations.

The company also announces that Don Hutchings has been named Vice President Channel Sales. In this new role he will be focused on forming partnerships with complementing industry partners to provide clients with combined solution options to meet their needs.

District of Columbia School Partners with Atomic Learning to Further Enhance Unique Blended School Model

Kramer Middle School in Washington, D.C. continues its focus on improving instruction and investing in technology by partnering with ed tech training leader Atomic Learning. In 2011–12, a blended school model was introduced, which combines a rich, personalized online program with face-to-face time with teachers. The school is now adding the Atomic Learning  solution to supplement the blended model. “Test scores are rising, attendance is improving, and students are engaged in learning,” Principal Simmons said. “The Atomic Learning solution will continue this trend and engage staff and students alike. ”
