Cloud-based education services expanded

ePals, Inc., today announced an expansion to its K-12 Solutions Partner Program. Based on strong customer demand for solutions that enable a digital learning environment, Dell will now offer the full breadth of ePals policy-managed solutions to its cloud-hosted education clients, enabling communication and collaboration across the global education community.

“Today’s announcement marks an important step for both our companies in delivering safe and effective ways for schools to transform learning and engage students and the entire school community,” said Ed Fish, President of ePals. “In schools and districts across the globe we see connected learning becoming a reality, and we’re pleased to work with Dell to best support this important evolution.”

Dell will offer SchoolMail365, the next generation of cloud-based email for schools and districts, and ePals LearningSpace™, the social learning platform for K-12 collaboration and community. This is in addition to the work the two companies announced in September to provide an advanced caching solution for real-time access to ePals LearningSpace from any location at anytime.

“Connecting students through technology helps them collaborate, create and learn in meaningful ways that lead to increased achievement and experiences,” said Mark Horan, Vice President of Dell Education. “Our work with ePals makes available sophisticated communication and collaboration tools that help students learn in these new and valuable ways.”

Both companies will be demonstrating the ePals solutions during TCEA at Dell’s booth #623.
