Adobe Acrobat is the commercial program of choice for creating and working with PDF files. However, if a software purchase does not fit into your budget, there are free PDF converters you can download and use. Of course, these programs do not offer all the features youâ€™ll find in Acrobat, but if you simply need to convert a word processing document into a PDF file, a free program will do the trick. One free converter is Pdf995. You can find others by doing an Internet search using the key words â€œfree PDF converter.â€
