Jeff Webb has been named network administrator for the Raleigh (WV) County Schools, based in Beckley. Webb, a lifetime county resident who attended district schools and graduated from Liberty High School, will be in charge of the district’s network infrastructure, computer hardware and software, security, and phone systems. He hold a bachelor’s degree in management information systems and a master’s degree in information systems from Marshall University.
The new network administrator will manage a staff of five, and Webb says upgrading the system’s wide area network and implementing wireless Internet access will be his top priorities.
