Montevideo Middle School is located in Penn Laird, Virginia. Internet Safety Instruction is an important focus for this school, as is the new iBook mobile lab. Both are featured on the site’s Home page. There is also an emphasis on links to curricular materials, particularly in grade 6.
How to use the site:
The Homework Hotline, which is used regularly by both parents and students, features current assignment postings for 20 teachers. The Internet Safety area is a favorite of parents and includes alerts and downloadable documents, as well as links to online safety resources and information about Spam prevention. One staff member, Elizabeth Fierro has created a Portaportal link for 6th graders. This page features a wide variety of online resources for students and teachers.
