St. Louis, MO -- Aug. 29, 2012 – SchoolReach Instant Contact Solutions, a leading school notification and alerts provider and Sycamore Education (Sycamore), a leading online school management system specializing in private and Charter schools, today launched a new integrated messaging system. Under the agreement Sycamore will offer fully integrated access to SchoolReach and promote SchoolReach as its preferred parent notification solution.

SchoolReach extends the communications capabilities of K-12 school administrators and helps them engage with parents, staff and student communities. The backbone of SchoolReach is their patented school notification and alerts platform that enables administrators to broadcast voice, email and text alerts to parents, teachers, staff and an entire community within minutes, announcing things such as school cancellations, emergency messages, absentee and lunch balance notifications, and bus route change notifications.

“We are delighted to now offer the power of SchoolReach through Sycamore,” said Paul Langhorst, SchoolReach chief marketing officer. “Sycamore enjoys a great reputation in our core markets and the combination of our systems offers Sycamore users increased ability to effectively and efficiently engage their parents and staff.”

Sycamore is an online school management solution offering over 200 integrated features, including student information system, grade book, accounting and payment management, online parent access, and course scheduling. Unlike module-based systems, Sycamore users enjoy immediate access to a deep feature set with low total cost of ownership. Sycamore users can now target specific groups of parents or staff with voice, email or text messages through SchoolReach without ever leaving their Sycamore screens.

“SchoolReach is clearly the leading parent notification in our market niche and has an incredible reputation and partnership with Catholic education,” according to Mark Simonson, Vice President of Operations. “Helping our clients engage and communicate with their communities is a core aspect of the Sycamore program, so it was a natural fit that we partnered with SchoolReach.”
