State Contract Win Brings Impero Software’s Multi-device Remote Monitoring and Management Solution to New York Schools

Austin, TX, Oct. 10, 2018 – Impero Software, specialist providers of remote monitoring and management software for education, in conjunction with ENA, a provider of comprehensive technology solutions for education institutions and libraries, has been selected for a New York state contract covering classroom management, school safety and device management software. The contract offers exclusive pricing for New York school districts, enabling them to purchase Impero’s software to help manage cross-platform devices and support student safety.

Impero has already seen success supporting K-12 schools across the U.S. with its flagship product for education, Impero Education Pro. The software provides a combination of simple classroom control tools, student safety features and network administration tools to help New York schools deliver effective digital learning environments. Multi-device monitoring, including the ability to remotely view, manage and control devices such as Chromebooks, Windows, Mac and iOS, supports schools with one-to-one programs.

Impero’s software monitors students’ online activity on a school’s network to identify – and alert educators of – key words and phrases that may indicate risk. Keyword libraries cover a range of topics, including bullying, self-harm, suicide, and mental health. The libraries provide glossary definitions and have been developed in partnership with leading charities and specialist organizations, including the Internet Watch Foundation (IWF), Hey U.G.L.Y, SafeBAE, Mental Health America, iKeepSafe and more.

Richard Fuller, CEO of Impero Software, comments, “ENA is renowned for delivering high-quality services to statewide and district-wide education networks. We’re delighted that they have recognized the value we provide to schools. This contract is an exciting step forward in supporting New York schools to help protect their students online, while delivering effective digital learning environments.”

Monica Cougan, a marketing product manager at ENA, welcomes the opportunity to work with Impero to bring a reliable and user-friendly classroom management tool to New York school districts. “We are excited to work with Impero on this ground-breaking project and to see the positive outcomes its management tool produces in New York classrooms.”
