Students and teachers at Susan Wagner High School’s Air Force JROTC program on Staten Island took delivery of the first of two of STEMPilot’s in-classroom Edustation flight simulators with accompanying STEM-based curriculum.
STEMPilot’s Edustations provide students with the physical experience of flight simulation for all types of aircrafts while they apply STEM – Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics, plus history, topography, geography, meteorology, and informational writing. They are learning all of this while they are fulfilling many of NYC Science Sequence & Scope, N.G.S.S., and Common Core’s educational standards.
