StudySync Launches New Unit Creator Tool for Teachers

StudySync, powered by BookheadEd Learning, LLC, and McGraw-Hill Education, a learning science company, today announced a new addition to the repertoire of tools and resources that make up its comprehensive blended ELA (English Language Arts)/ELL (English Language Learner) program for grades 6-12. The new Unit Creator tool allows teachers to create their own specialized units from scratch.

Teachers can locate the new “Create Unit” button under StudySync’s Units Tab. The tool consists of a template that enables teachers to add multiple lessons from StudySync’s curriculum libraries, selecting and customizing material from the program’s stores of resources, as well as creating their own lessons.

Teachers can draw from StudySync’s Blasts, Skills lessons, and text libraries. Teachers can select lessons from more than 1,200 fiction and nonfiction texts and text excerpts in StudySync’s digital library. The collection of Blasts offer short reading and writing assignments based on timely, high-interest, real-world topics that prompt online debates with other students across the nation.
