Panopto Adds 360-Degree Video, Speech Recognition in 9 Languages

Panopto today announced new capabilities added to its education video platform. Key features include:

• Support for 360-degree and virtual reality video: Instructors can now upload footage from 360-degree cameras and watch it using Panopto’s updated video player or VR headsets.
• Smart Search support for speech recognition in 9 languages: The inside-video search engine now supports Spanish, German, French, Japanese, Korean, Portuguese, Dutch and Polish in addition to English.
