PLATO Learning has introduced PLATO Virtual Academy, a flexible, standards-based solution that pairs research-based courses with certified, online teachers.
Like all PLATO Learning curriculum, PLATO Virtual Academy courses are aligned to Common Core, state, and national standards. This standards-based program also follows the iNACOL National Standards of Quality for Online Programs.
The PLATO Virtual Academy will begin with summer school 2012 implementations, with over 50 virtual courses across a range of subject areas.
