The Flipped Learning Network has released preliminary data on the impact the flipped classroom method is having on student learning and teacher satisfaction. The data infographic summarizes responses from more than 450 flipped educators on how the flipped method has affected standardized test scores, student attitudes and educator job satisfaction. In addition, it provides comparisons on what grade levels and subjects are being flipped.

Today at FlipCon13, the sixth annual flipped learning conference, the Flipped Learning Network, George Mason University and Pearson’s Center for Educator Effectiveness released, “A Review of Flipped Learning,” a comprehensive review of the emerging literature on flipped learning to support the growth of this teaching model that appears to be improving student achievement.

Pioneering Flipped Educators Launch 'Flipped Learning Network'

Flipped Learning pioneers Jonathan Bergmann and Aaron Sams have launched the Flipped Learning Network™, a non-profit organization for teachers interested in the Flipped Learning ideology. The Network’s mission is to provide educators with the knowledge, skills and resources to successfully implement Flipped Learning. In addition to hosting the annual Flipped Conference and regional training workshops, the Network coordinates the Teacher Vodcasting and Flipped Learning Network Ning Community where thousands of educators can participate in flipped educator groups and discussion forums.
