26 Tennessee Districts Select InformationNOW Education Platform

STI, provider of education data management and student achievement solutions to the K-12 public and private school market, today announced that 26 school districts across the state of Tennessee are using InformationNOW, STI’s K-12 education platform.

“We are excited to work with schools and districts across Tennessee to transform how they use data and information to inform the teaching and learning process and promote student achievement,” said Derek Dunaway, STI chief executive officer. “STI continues to expand our geographic footprint to reach and engage more students across the country and drive academic achievement in the K-12 classrooms we serve. The technology and services we are delivering to Tennessee schools will facilitate collaboration, access to information, and effective use of tools to improve student performance statewide.”

The Tennessee Department of Education designated STI as an approved student information system vendor to provide a cost-effective way for Tennessee districts and schools to get started with InformationNOW.

“As part of the SIS vendor selection committee for the state of Tennessee, I looked for a user-friendly solution that would not only meet our state reporting needs, but also make our schools and districts more efficient,” said Sharon Spears, director of attendance, Coffee County Board of Education. “I can say without a doubt that InformationNOW meets our needs, and the needs of our students. InformationNOW provides our teachers and administrators the tools to make informed, data-driven decisions about how to help our students reach their academic potential.”
