Wayne Township MSD (IN) and itslearning, an internationally acclaimed LMS, have been awarded a bronze medal in the 2018 IMS Global Consortium’s Learning Impact Award program. Their entry, Using LMS Interoperability to Power and Drive Student-Centered Learning, was recognized at this year’s annual Learning Impact Leadership Institute held in Baltimore, Maryland. The award aligned to the theme Evolution to Next Generation Digital Learning Environments and was chosen among applications and platforms to manage the creation and delivery of learning experiences, including personalization, accessibility, and mobility. In their submission to the awards program, Wayne Township and itslearning highlighted five key goals of their LMS partnership, the Wayne Learning Hub: Curated Resources; Digital Community; Safe, Collaborative Learning Spaces; Individual Learning Paths; and Readily Available Access. An analysis of the 2018 winning projects will be provided in the annual Learning Impact Report, which will be released in the fall.
