When you need to get directions, you might want to try a new online mapping program called Map24. I found this program to be easier to use and the Java allows me to:

  • Search for an address.
  • Calculate the distance.
  • Create my own personal settings.

Go ahead and register for free to receive numerous products that will permit you to integrate interactive and dynamic maps functions to your Homepage or portal. Pretty cool!

You’ve heard of blogging. Maybe even set up your own blog, but have you heard of WordPress? (www.wordpress.org). It’s a state-of-the-art semantic personal publishing platform with a focus on aesthetics, Web standards and usability. I like some of the features such as

  • integrated blogrolling
  • ease of customization
  • password-protected posts
  • ease and simplicity of installation and upgrades (Yeah!)

Both of these new tools will help teachers and professional developers alike. You always need to get directions quickly. Then use some form of blogging for reflections.
