Merit Software has launched Reading Skill Builder, a new, web-based reading comprehension program which provides increasingly higher-level material in a focused approach to help students learn. Concepts covered include vocabulary, sequence, fact-opinion, factual recall, inference, and author's purpose.

Reading Skill Builder is designed for late elementary and middle school grade levels. English language learners, learning disabled pupils, and remedial readers can also benefit from it.
