A Brief History of Time Telling
published
This video from The British Museum’s Young Explorers goes way back to see how we have measured time. First, of course, humans used the sun and moon as ways to determine the passage of time. You will see several of the sun dials in the British Museum’s collection. Next you’ll see mechanical clocks, chronometers, and, finally, atomic clocks. The video explains how time pieces have become more and more accurate over history and why that is important.
