Irish Potato Famine Project
A schools-based collaborative project designed to be the definitive resource on the Irish potato famine. Uses a variety of video, historic dramatizations, and interactive media to retell the history of the famine. It describes what life was like in Ireland during the 1840s and explains the impact of the famine on the people, including the migration of many Irish nationals who fled to America to escape starvation.
