From RIF (Reading Is Fundamental) comes this excellent resource page focusing on the connections between art and the written word. There are downloadable lesson plans in PDF format plus lots of hands-on activities. All are divided into Pre-K, Grades K-2, Grades 3-5, and Grades 6-8. There are also booklists faeturing art themes to promote reading and a list of Web sites that do the same.
