Here’s a short writing lesson to get your students to think about what they would like to accomplish in the new year. The writing prompt is clear, and there are some suggestions of what students can consider while composing their essays. Print out the Writing Bug worksheet to give your students some physical parameters for their writing. An amusing little bug at the top of the page encourages the writer.
