Boxlight to Debut Newest Touch Technology Products, Laser Projectors and Software Features at 2018 BETT

Newest additions increase opportunities for schools to acquire whole-class and collaborative solutions to fit classroom and budgetary needs

Boxlight Corporation (Nasdaq: BOXL) (“Boxlight”), a leading provider of technology solutions for the global learning market, today announced its participation at the 2018 BETT Show to be held January 24-27 in London. Boxlight will preview several new additions to its whole-class and collaborative instruction solutions. Visitors to the company’s exhibition stand (A50) in Hall N1-19 will have a firsthand look at how Boxlight is expanding its product and solutions offering to support the different ways in which educators and students teach and learn, respectively.

“Boxlight’s mission, year in and year out, is to develop an array of whole-class and collaborative offerings that help educators and students approach learning in the ways that best suit them,” said Hank Nance, Boxlight’s Chief Operating Officer. “We continue to devise solutions that work with schools’ current solutions and budget, and we look forward to making these newest offerings available for preview to BETT attendees.”

Being debuted at BETT will be a first-of-its-kind solution that turns a conventional whiteboard into a touch board in less than five minutes. “This one-of-a-kind technology gives schools the opportunity to quickly and inexpensively bring touch interactivity to their classrooms by simply leveraging their current whiteboard and existing projector,” said Boxlight’s Vice President of Product, Stevan Vigneaux.

Boxlight will also launch two new touch board models for the EMEA market. Potential buyers can choose between a 78-inch model with a 4:3 aspect ratio and an 87-inch model with a 16:10 aspect ratio. The new touch boards are extremely lightweight and easy to install. “These new boards are designed to be an economical way to bring touch technology to classrooms,” added Vigneaux.

Attendees will also see the new ProColor interactive touch table with a larger screen size of 49 inches to better facilitate collaborative work. Like its predecessor, the new touch table accommodates up to 12 single-point touch users or six dual-touch users. Electronic controls allow teachers to easily adjust the height

Additional products being unveiled will include a new high-brightness laser projector, available in both interactive and non-interactive models. The projector’s laser illumination provides long term brightness and color stability without lamp failures. The interactive projector model allows teachers to create interactive areas as large as 115” diagonal in 16:10 aspect ratio and includes MimioStudio™ classroom software for the creation and delivery of engaging lessons. In addition, the MimioMobile™ collaboration and assessment app with a limited license is included with every interactive projector.

Finally, Boxlight will be giving visitors a preview of the newest version of the easy-to-learn and easy-to-use MimioStudio software. MimioStudio 12.0 includes the capacity for embedding a web page into a MimioStudio Notebook file and enhanced import features to accommodate an even broader range of third-party whiteboard lesson files.
