E-textbooks made available offline

CourseSmart – provider of e-textbooks and digital course materials – just announced the launch of a new reading experience in HTML5.  The new HTML5 single platform reader, coupled with the latest version of Mozilla Firefox 5.0, allows anytime, anywhere access to course materials and productivity tools – such as note-taking and highlighting – whether online, offline or on a mobile device.

CourseSmart also offers apps for iPad, iPhone and Android.
