Smart Wi-Fi router introduced

The new Linksys Smart Wi-Fi dual-band AC1600 EA6400 router is intended for dorm rooms or homes with five to seven connected devices and offers Wi-Fi speeds up to 1300 Mbps on the 5 GHz band and up to 300 Mbps on the 2.4 GHz band. The dual-band AC120, offering up to 867 Mbps on the 5 GHz band and up to 300 Mbps on the 2.4 GHz band, is a fit for a small home with three to five connected devices such as a PC, smartphone and Smart TV.

  • CD-less installation, and the ability to install from most devices through browser-based set-up
  • Gigabit Ethernet
  • USB 3.0 ports
  • Linksys SimpleTap, to connect new devices through scanning a QR code or using a NFC tag
