While industry analysts debate whether or not there is an “edtech bubble,” participants at the SIIA Education Summit in San Francisco proved that the technology itself is more than just vaporware. Four companies won Innovation Incubator awards: Online search engine Ranku, document assessment web app Crowdmark, Promethean’s Classflow and Mosa Mack Science Detective were selected for originality, innovation, and ability to positively impact schools. 31 other companies were selected from a pool of 146 finalists for the coveted CODiE Awards.
